Job Overview:
A highly respected national law firm seeks an experienced Employment Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic employment practice group at the Minneapolis, MN location. The successful candidate will manage diverse employment-related litigation and administrative cases, represent employer clients in various legal settings, and offer strategic advice on labor and employment matters.

Duties:

• Representing clients in litigation related to workplace disputes, employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage disputes, employment contracts, employment torts, and restrictive covenants.

• Advocating for employer clients at mediations, arbitrations, administrative proceedings, and judicial hearings, including class or collective action cases.

• Providing timely and strategic legal advice to businesses regarding compliance with labor and employment regulations and best practices.

• Preparing and managing cases comprehensively, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant litigation experience, with a strong preference for employment litigation background.

• Active membership with the Minnesota State Bar, or the ability to obtain admission promptly.

• Comprehensive knowledge of court procedures and state and federal agency practices related to employment matters.

• Superior written and verbal communication proficiency.

• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a dedication to maintaining a high standard of professional excellence.

• Capacity to independently manage projects while effectively collaborating within a professional team environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA), with a strong academic record.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Minnesota, or eligible for immediate bar admission.

Skills:

• A skilled litigator with proven courtroom and advocacy experience.

• Strong ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide clear, actionable guidance.

• Effective multitasker, capable of handling multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced legal practice.
