Position Title: Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A prominent law firm based in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking an Associate Attorney to provide exceptional legal representation and support for clients affected by personal injury cases. This position is ideal for a passionate legal professional dedicated to advocating for victims of negligence and pursuing justice within a collaborative legal environment.

Duties:

• Represent personal injury clients in all phases of litigation
• Handle client communications and manage case files with diligence
• Conduct discovery, attend conferences, and draft motions
• Attend court appearances and depositions
• Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and opposing counsel
• Work closely with support staff, including paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience handling personal injury cases (preferred)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach
• Proficient oral advocacy, legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Dependable, with a solid work ethic and attention to detail

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Bar License in New York (required)
