Insurance Defense Attorney

Job Overview: A well-established national civil litigation and insurance defense firm is looking to hire an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join its growing office in Paramus, NJ. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in personal injury litigation and/or insurance defense, capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative legal team.

Location:

• Paramus, NJ

Duties:

• Represent clients in insurance defense and personal injury litigation matters
• Provide legal counsel to clients regarding insurance defense strategies
• Manage a caseload of cases, ensuring timely and efficient resolution
• Draft legal documents including motions, briefs, and pleadings
• Appear in court for hearings, trials, and depositions as necessary
• Work with other attorneys, legal staff, and clients to develop case strategies and provide advice
• Maintain strong communication with clients regarding case updates and developments

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance defense or personal injury litigation
• Active license to practice law in New York (Required)
• Active license to practice law in New Jersey (Preferred)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and legal writing skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases effectively

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (Required)

Certifications:

• Active Bar license in New York (Required)
• Active Bar license in New Jersey (Preferred)
