The attorney will be expected to exhibit superior client care and proactive communication while working collaboratively in a team environment.

Duties:

  • Actively utilize the Firm’s case management and reporting software to manage assigned matters.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including occasional travel to different jurisdictions.
  • Apply knowledge of consumer credit collections, state-specific laws regarding consumer collections, and FDCPA to legal matters.
  • Provide proactive communication and superior client care throughout the legal process.
  • Collaborate effectively with other attorneys and staff within the firm.
  • Prepare and review legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission and membership in good standing with the Georgia State Bar.
  • Working knowledge of consumer credit collections, FDCPA, and state laws regarding consumer collections.
  • Multi-state licensure is strongly preferred.

Education:

  • JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Member in good standing of the Georgia State Bar.
  • Multi-state licensure is a plus.
