A well-established personal injury law firm in Irvine, CA, is seeking an experienced and motivated Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of personal injury law, including motor vehicle collisions, slip and falls, and premises liability. This position offers the opportunity for professional growth and involvement in complex litigation matters under the guidance of a senior litigation attorney.

Location:

Duties:

• Assist in strategizing and helping clients achieve optimal resolutions in personal injury cases.
• Participate in the preparation of pleadings, discovery, motion writing, depositions, and court appearances.
• Develop creative negotiation strategies for favorable outcomes.
• Manage trial preparation and actively participate in litigation processes.
• Work under the direction of the Managing Partner and Senior Litigation Attorney, transitioning to handling own caseload.
• Collaborate with the litigation department, including paralegals, to ensure efficient case management.
• Participate in mediations and settlement conferences.

Requirements:

• Active membership and good standing with the California State Bar (required).
• Familiarity with personal injury cases, including motor vehicle collisions, slip and falls, premises liability, and general negligence.
• Strong oral advocacy and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in civil litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, taking depositions, and handling dispositive motions.
• Successful track record in attending mediations and settlement conferences.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active California Bar License (required).

Skills:

• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Apple products.
• Familiarity with Casepeer (preferred, but not required).
• Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
• Reliable, organized, and able to communicate effectively with litigation teams.
