Job Overview:
A growing law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join their insurance defense practice. This role will primarily focus on professional liability and premises liability cases. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, be proactive, and demonstrate the ability to work independently while contributing to the growth of the firm.

Location:

Duties:

  • Handle caseloads involving professional liability and premises liability
  • Manage all aspects of procedural law in litigation
  • Independently prepare and respond to legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery requests
  • Represent clients in court hearings and trials
  • Develop strategies to effectively defend clients in insurance-related matters
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to build case strategies
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the firm’s insurance defense practice

Requirements:

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania (PA) and New Jersey (NJ) State Bars required
  • Experience in insurance defense and litigation
  • Strong understanding of procedural law and litigation processes
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Proactive approach to managing a caseload
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey State Bars required

Skills:

  • Strong litigation and trial experience
