Job Overview:

A growing personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced Georgia-licensed attorney to join as an Of Counsel Premises Liability Attorney. This remote role is ideal for attorneys who want to focus on litigation and courtroom work while receiving a high volume of premises liability cases. The position offers a unique opportunity to maintain an independent practice while benefiting from the support of a well-established law firm. The role includes access to a steady flow of cases and full administrative support, allowing the attorney to focus on providing exceptional legal representation for personal injury clients.

Location:

  • Peachtree City, GA

Duties:

  • Represent clients in premises liability cases, handling litigation and court appearances.
  • Oversee case management from intake through settlement or trial.
  • Collaborate with an intake team to sign on new clients and retrieve necessary information.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and other parties to secure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide clients with guidance to ensure they receive appropriate medical care.
  • File suits on cases in Georgia and litigate disputes with insurance companies when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure positive client experiences.

Requirements:

  • Active membership and good standing with the Georgia State Bar.
  • Experience in premises liability and personal injury law is preferred.
  • Strong initiative and self-motivation to handle a high volume of cases.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Ability to manage complex cases and thrive in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Willingness to handle litigation and courtroom work rather than administrative tasks.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia.
