Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in New York City, NY is seeking a Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney with 6-7 years of experience at a major law firm. The ideal candidate will have experience in general commercial litigation, securities litigation, mergers & acquisitions/corporate governance litigation, SEC enforcement, and antitrust/unfair competition litigation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and conduct all aspects of litigation matters, including legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in court hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Conduct and defend depositions of witnesses and experts.
• Handle discovery processes, including document review and production.
• Manage case strategy and client communication.

Requirements:

• 6-7 years of experience in general commercial litigation and/or specialized areas such as securities litigation, mergers & acquisitions/corporate governance litigation, SEC enforcement, and antitrust/unfair competition litigation.
• Experience at a major law firm is required.
• Strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility to waive in.

Education and Certifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
