This role involves managing all aspects of real estate closings while ensuring compliance with legal requirements and delivering a seamless experience for clients.

Duties:

• Manage and oversee residential and commercial real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, and refinances.

• Conduct thorough title examinations to verify property ownership and resolve any issues.

• Collaborate with lenders, brokers, real estate agents, buyers, and sellers to facilitate smooth closings.

• Draft and review legal documents, including loan agreements, deeds, leases, and purchase contracts.

• Provide professional legal guidance to clients, addressing any questions or concerns throughout the closing process.

• Review disbursement ledgers and authorize financial transactions related to closings.

• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships within the real estate community.

• Conduct educational training sessions for potential clients on relevant real estate legal matters.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in residential real estate transactions is preferred.

• An active member in good standing with the South Carolina State Bar.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
