Duties:

• Support attorneys in handling patent prosecution matters.
• Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications before the USPTO.
• Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.
• Assist in preparing responses to USPTO actions.
• Review and evaluate patent portfolios.
• Collaborate with clients to understand and protect their innovations.
• Conduct technical research and analysis to support legal strategies.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of experience in patent prosecution.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical engineering principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
