Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking a motivated and team-oriented Associate Attorney to join its Litigation group in Dayton. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with at least two years of litigation experience to further their career in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong research, writing, and analytical skills, along with a solid foundation in litigation practices. Judicial clerkship experience is preferred but not required.

Location:

Duties:

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and dispositive motions.
  • Assist in managing complex discovery in large cases.
  • Participate in depositions and court appearances.
  • Conduct legal research and provide comprehensive analysis.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and other team members.
  • Provide legal strategy and counsel in litigation matters.
  • Support senior attorneys in case preparation and litigation proceedings.
  • Contribute to case management and strategy discussions.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of litigation experience.
  • Strong academic and professional credentials.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Judicial clerkship experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to manage complex legal matters and work as part of a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Ohio (active and in good standing).
