Job Overview: The Camp Lejeune Attorney will primarily handle cases related to claims arising from exposure to contaminants at Camp Lejeune. This role involves extensive client interaction, document drafting, case preparation, and team leadership.

Job Duties:

  • Communicate daily with clients regarding case progress and updates.
  • Drafting claim submissions and plaintiff fact sheets.
  • Reviewing medical and military records to validate cases.
  • Drafting client correspondence and legal documents.
  • Maintaining accurate client information in databases.
  • Directing a team of client engagement specialists to ensure effective case management.
  • Documenting, organizing, and preparing case files for submission and filing.
  • Undertaking additional projects as assigned by senior attorneys.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in legal practice, focusing on Mass Tort, Personal Injury, Worker's Compensation, or Social Security Disability preferred.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
  • Experience with Eastern District of North Carolina cases is advantageous.
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of North Carolina (or ability to obtain admission promptly).
