Job Overview:
A reputable law firm is seeking a securities attorney with over 6 years of experience managing structured securities offerings to join their Investment Funds Group. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in commercial real estate law, particularly in real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions. This position will involve representing various public and private real estate companies, REITs, and institutional investors in a variety of transactions, such as acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, complex financings, and real estate development. The role offers flexibility in terms of office location, with opportunities to work from multiple U.S. office locations.

Location:

  • Philadelphia, PA

Duties:

  • Lead and manage structured securities offerings, including advising clients on acquisitions, financings, restructurings, and other related transactions.
  • Represent real estate companies, REITs, and institutional investors in commercial real estate matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documentation related to real estate transactions.
  • Provide strategic counsel to clients on complex real estate finance and securities issues.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams on investment transactions and deal structuring.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality legal services are provided to clients.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development efforts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in managing structured securities offerings.
  • Significant experience in commercial real estate law, with a focus on acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
  • Experience at a top-tier law firm (preferably AmLaw 100) is highly preferred.
  • Ability to handle complex transactions and work both independently and in a team.
  • Strong business judgment and the ability to influence clients and colleagues.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction where the position is located.
