Employment Litigation Associate

Job Overview: A respected law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Associate to join its team in Dallas, TX. Location:

• Dallas, TX

Duties:

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, and in mediations and arbitrations
• Handle cases involving class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, employment torts, non-compete agreements, and other employment law matters
• Provide advice and counsel to employers on a range of labor and employment laws and regulations
• Work independently and collaboratively on various employment-related projects

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience; background in employment law preferred
• Active Texas bar admission (or ability to obtain quickly)
• Strong understanding of current court and employment-related agency procedures (both state and federal)
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail with a commitment to excellence
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to professionalism and collegiality

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Excellent academic credentials

Certifications:

• Active bar admission in Texas (or ability to obtain admission promptly)
