Mid-To-Senior Level Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in McLean, VA, is seeking a highly qualified Mid-To-Senior Level Associate Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in economic development law and a proven track record of delivering high-quality legal services to clients.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in economic development matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex land use, zoning, incentives, and public financing issues.
• Draft and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Advise clients on regulatory compliance and strategic planning for economic development projects.
• Represent clients in administrative hearings, negotiations, and court proceedings as necessary.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Virginia State Bar or ability to waive into the Virginia Bar.
• 4-7 years of experience practicing law, preferably focusing on economic development or related areas.
• Proven ability to manage complex legal matters independently and efficiently.
