Job Overview:

A respected law firm based in Miami, FL is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to lead complex personal injury cases through all stages of litigation. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing high-value cases from inception to trial and beyond. Ideal candidates will bring courtroom confidence, excellent communication abilities, and a winning trial record to a collaborative and driven legal team.

Duties:

• Conduct initial client consultations and initiate legal proceedings

• Manage the full lifecycle of litigation cases, including discovery, depositions, and motions

• Draft and respond to interrogatories and requests for production

• Oversee fact and expert witness depositions

• Engage in pre-trial strategy development and trial preparation

• Represent clients during hearings, mediations, and court trials

• Present legal arguments before judges and juries in state and federal court

• Prepare and file post-trial motions when applicable

• Participate in internal legal strategy sessions and team meetings

Requirements:

• Current license to practice law in Florida, in good standing

• Prior experience managing plaintiff-side personal injury litigation

• Demonstrated success in trial settings, with at least two cases tried as lead counsel

• Proficiency in managing a dynamic litigation docket with multiple active cases

• Capable of providing leadership and guidance to support staff and legal teams

• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills

• Excellent advocacy and oral presentation skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida Bar (required)

• Exceptional legal writing and analytical capabilities

• Proficiency in legal research and case law analysis
