A law firm in Wilmington, DE is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background, proven litigation experience, and exceptional writing and communication skills. This role specifically focuses on Hatch Waxman litigation and offers the opportunity to work on complex intellectual property cases, particularly within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of Hatch Waxman litigation, including case strategy, fact development, and expert discovery.
  • Draft briefs, motions, and legal documents related to pharmaceutical and intellectual property litigation.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare case analyses to support ongoing litigation.
  • Participate in fact and expert discovery, including managing depositions, interrogatories, and document reviews.
  • Attend hearings, trials, and appellate arguments as required.
  • Collaborate closely with partners and clients to develop litigation strategies.
  • Support and mentor junior associates and contribute to the growth of the litigation practice.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of Hatch Waxman litigation experience.
  • Experience in all phases of litigation, including drafting briefs, conducting discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Solid law firm experience with a proven track record in intellectual property litigation.
  • Superb legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • A high level of academic achievement, demonstrated by top-tier law school grades and honors.
  • Admission to the Delaware State Bar (or ability to waive in).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical degree in chemistry, biology, or a related field (highly preferred).
  • Clerkship experience in intellectual property or pharmaceutical litigation.
