Duties:

• Drafting pleadings and legal documents
• Conducting depositions and client interviews
• Attending court appearances and hearings
• Drafting and opposing motions
• Investigating claims and providing legal analysis
• Advising clients and keeping them informed on case progress

Requirements:

• Active membership in the California State Bar
• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience
• Strong legal research and writing abilities
• Proven ability to handle complex legal matters independently

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• California State Bar membership required

Skills:

• Legal research and writing
• Litigation experience, particularly in depositions and motion practice
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
