Associate Attorney needed for Salinas office

Job Duties:

• Manage a caseload of Workers' Compensation defense matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and client correspondence.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations as required.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar and good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing law, preferably in Workers' Compensation defense.
• Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent client management skills with a focus on responsiveness and clear communication.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
• Proficiency in electronic document management systems and office software (the firm is paperless).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience handling Workers' Compensation cases.
• Familiarity with relevant California laws and court procedures.
