Associate Attorney for Tacoma office

A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join their team in Tacoma, Washington. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven legal professional with at least one year of experience. Duties:

• Provide legal assistance across various practice areas.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and motions.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations as required.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and legal research.
• Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed of case developments.
• Assist in the preparation and management of litigation files.
• Contribute to the firm's efforts in maintaining a high standard of client service.
• Participate in firm-wide initiatives and contribute to the firm’s culture of teamwork and professional excellence.

Requirements:

• At least one year of practice experience.
• Active license to practice law in Washington State.
• Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a client-centered approach to legal practice.
• A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
• Desire to develop expertise in a wide range of legal disciplines.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Washington State Bar.
