Job Overview: A law firm in Reno, NV is looking for an experienced Family Law Attorney to join its team. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in handling complex family law matters, including divorce, child custody, support issues, and domestic violence cases. Duties:

• Manage all aspects of family law cases, including litigation, mediation, settlement discussions, and negotiation.
• Represent clients in contested and uncontested divorce proceedings, child custody disputes, and financial support issues.
• Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, agreements, and orders.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to formulate case strategies.
• Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and mediation sessions.
• Maintain consistent and clear communication with clients, ensuring they are updated throughout the process.
• Work collaboratively with the legal team to develop effective case strategies and secure favorable outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Nevada with good standing with the Nevada State Bar.
• 2-5 years of experience in family law (courtroom and litigation experience preferred).
• Strong legal writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Trial experience and willingness to litigate when necessary.
• Experience in handling high-asset divorces and complex custody cases is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Nevada.
