A law firm seeks a Personal Injury Attorney for their Houston, TX office:

Job Overview:

The Personal Injury Attorney will represent clients in personal injury cases, including communicating with clients, conducting depositions, legal research, drafting, leading mediations, developing case strategies, and representing clients in trials.

Duties:

  • Communicate effectively with clients throughout the legal process.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
  • Lead mediations to negotiate settlements.
  • Develop effective case strategies.
  • Represent clients in trials.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing personal injury or civil litigation.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
  • Experience drafting and responding to motions.
  • Substantial knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in the state of Texas.
