A law firm seeks a skilled Senior Associate Attorney to join its practice in the vibrant West Coast region. With a focus on probate litigation and appeals, this position requires an experienced attorney who is passionate about advocating for clients in complex legal matters. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience and be admitted to practice law in California, Arizona, or Nevada. Duties:

  • Represent clients in probate litigation and appeals, managing cases from start to finish.
  • Provide legal guidance to clients regarding estate disputes, will contests, and fiduciary responsibilities.
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other court documents related to probate matters.
  • Strategize with senior attorneys to develop case tactics and ensure the best outcomes for clients.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to keep them informed and manage expectations.
  • Perform extensive legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations related to probate.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and trials as required to advocate for clients' interests.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of experience in probate litigation and appeals.
  • Active Bar membership in California, Arizona, or Nevada.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal matters and manage a caseload.
  • Strong advocacy and litigation skills, with experience in trial preparation and courtroom appearances.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate legal concepts clearly.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active bar membership in California, Arizona, or Nevada.
