Job Overview: A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an experienced Worker's Compensation Applicant Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive worker compensation law experience and strong communication skills.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in workers' compensation cases from inception through resolution.
  • Conducted legal research and provided legal advice to clients regarding workers' compensation matters.
  • Prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Attend hearings, mediations, and depositions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience practicing workers' compensation law.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle a high-volume caseload efficiently.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.

Certifications:

  • Certification as a Workers' Compensation Specialist (WCSC) is a plus.
