Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is looking to add an Associate Attorney to its team. This role primarily involves managing foreclosure cases, from preparing and reviewing related legal documents to representing clients in various proceedings. The ideal candidate will have the expertise to navigate complex foreclosure matters and work closely with clients to achieve favorable outcomes.

Duties:

  • Review, prepare, and approve legal documents related to foreclosure proceedings.
  • Handle all aspects of contested and uncontested foreclosures.
  • Represent clients in mediations, depositions, and hearings, both in-person and remotely.
  • Provide consistent client updates and manage communications.
  • Manage a high-volume caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Complete special projects and other tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active and good standing license in the District of Columbia and Maryland.
  • Willingness to travel for court appearances within Maryland.
  • Ability to efficiently manage and prioritize a large caseload.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to provide superior client service.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree
