Personal Injury Attorney

A law firm seeks a dedicated Personal Injury Attorney to join its team in the Nashville metropolitan area. This position is ideal for attorneys who thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and are committed to providing compassionate legal representation to clients across the United States. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organizational, and writing skills.

Duties

• Manage personal injury case files from initial consultation to resolution.
• Assess potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including motions, pleadings, demand letters, and subpoenas.
• Conduct legal research on case law and premises liability; gather relevant evidence such as insurance policies and medical records.
• Communicate effectively with clients, expert witnesses, insurance adjusters, supporting witnesses, and medical providers to collect necessary information.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients when appropriate.
• Represent clients at hearings, trials, mediations, and depositions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and update the status of case files within the case management system.
• Oversee and mentor a team of paralegals and legal assistants.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in the Tennessee Bar.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience, preferably in personal injury law.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Tennessee State Bar.

• Preferred experience in depositions, hearings, and mediation.

• Familiarity with PACER and proficiency in Excel is a plus.
