Associate Attorney Workers Compensation

Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team in Los Angeles, CA. Duties:

• Represent clients in various workers’ compensation hearings, including Status, MSCs, and Priority Conferences.
• Strategize and prosecute cases, primarily at VNO.
• Collaborate with the legal team to develop case strategies and gain additional workers’ compensation law knowledge.
• Maintain a manageable caseload to ensure work-life balance.
• Focus on case preparation without the requirement for billing or client reports.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a workers’ compensation attorney.
• Strong litigation skills with the ability to handle hearings independently.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to manage caseload effectively.
• Demonstrated commitment to client advocacy and legal excellence.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California State Bar.

Certifications:

• Workers’ Compensation Specialist Certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Skills:

• Proficient in workers’ compensation law and procedures.
