Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm based in San Francisco is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Finance Practice Group. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex financing transactions, including acquisition financings and refinancings, in a collaborative environment that values innovation and teamwork.

Duties:

  • Represent private equity sponsors, private companies, and borrowers in secured transactions, with a focus on acquisition financings and refinancings.
  • Collaborate with a team of professionals on fast-paced, complex financing matters.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Draft and negotiate financing agreements and related documents.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients on complex financial transactions.
  • Work alongside experienced colleagues to manage and execute transactions effectively.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4-6 years of law firm experience in finance-related transactions, particularly in secured lending and acquisition financing.
  • Strong client relationship management skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex legal matters and projects under tight deadlines.
  • Member of the California State Bar.

Education:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the California State Bar is required.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of finance and lending transactions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
