Job Overview:
A prominent Am Law 200 firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney to join its Litigation & Disputes Service Line in Tampa, Florida. This role involves handling sophisticated commercial litigation matters, including representing creditors in collections, bankruptcy, and related litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong litigation background, excellent research skills, and a proactive approach to managing multiple projects.

Location:

Duties:

  • Represent creditors in commercial collections, bankruptcy, and related litigation.
  • Manage complex commercial litigation cases from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including briefs, motions, and memoranda.
  • Provide strategic counsel to clients on litigation matters and case strategies.
  • Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and court appearances.
  • Utilize practice management systems and portals for case management.
  • Manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active member of the Florida Bar.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in commercial litigation.
  • Strong technological proficiency, including familiarity with practice management systems and legal databases.
  • Excellent research skills and the ability to utilize online services and databases effectively.
  • Strong project management abilities with the capacity to prioritize multiple cases and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education:
