Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm based in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Litigation group. This position is available across multiple U.S. offices and is ideal for a driven legal professional eager to contribute to complex litigation matters. Duties:

• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide legal guidance.
• Supervise and mentor junior associates to foster a collaborative team environment.
• Collaborate with expert witnesses to enhance case presentations and strategies.
• Assist in fact development and preparation for depositions, ensuring thorough understanding of case details.
• Review and draft discovery responses, legal briefs, motions, and memoranda with precision.
• Contribute to the formulation and execution of case strategies, analyzing potential outcomes and advising clients accordingly.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in an AmLaw 100 firm.
• A strong background in science, with experience in products liability and/or complex commercial litigation.
• Familiarity with the pharmaceutical and medical device industries and clients.
• Must be admitted to practice in Maryland.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Strong academic credentials from nationally recognized institutions.
• Additional degrees such as MD, MPH, PharmD, or in Epidemiology are required.

Certifications:

• Active admission to practice law in Maryland.
