Labor and Employment Associate Attorney

A law firm in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a Labor and Employment Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of experience in employment law. The ideal candidate will be responsible for litigation, employment advice and counseling, drafting employment contracts and policies, and collaborating with transactional teams regarding employment aspects of transactions.

Job Duties:

• Handle litigation, including lawsuits and agency proceedings, related to labor and employment matters.
• Provide employment advice and counseling to clients on a wide range of issues.
• Draft employment contracts, policies, and other related documents.
• Collaborate with transactional teams to address employment aspects of transactions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on labor and employment law issues.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions.
• Stay updated on changes in labor and employment laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of experience in employment law.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Licensed in North Carolina or ability to become immediately licensed.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Licensed to practice law in North Carolina or ability to become licensed.
