Duties:

  • Manage a caseload independently, handling all aspects of litigation from inception to resolution, with assistance from staff and guidance from senior attorneys.
  • Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery responses.
  • Represent clients in various legal proceedings, including hearings and depositions.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients throughout the litigation process.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members on more complex cases.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.
  • Continuously stay updated on developments in the law and incorporate new knowledge into case strategies.
  • Contribute to the firm’s overall success by managing multiple cases efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • 0-4 years of experience as an attorney, with a strong interest in litigation.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and cases in a fast-paced environment.
  • A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for helping clients.
  • Flexibility and openness to learning from more senior attorneys.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Bar admission (Florida preferred).
