Insurance and Reinsurance Career Attorney

A law firm in Boston, MA is seeking an Insurance and Reinsurance Career Attorney with 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of insurance coverage issues, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies. The role requires exceptional academic credentials and strong research and writing skills.

Duties:

• Provide expert legal advice on insurance coverage issues, focusing on professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies.
• Analyze complex insurance policies and coverage disputes to offer strategic legal counsel.
• Draft, review, and negotiate insurance-related documents, including policies, contracts, and regulatory submissions.
• Represent clients in insurance coverage disputes and commercial litigation, including arbitration, mediation, and court proceedings.
• Prepare and file legal documents such as motions, briefs, and other litigation materials.
• Conduct thorough legal research and provide detailed analysis on insurance and reinsurance matters.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for case management and litigation to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Collaborate with clients, insurance professionals, and internal teams to address and resolve insurance claims and coverage challenges.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and legal developments affecting insurance law.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar or eligibility to obtain admission.
• 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
• Strong understanding of insurance coverage issues, particularly in professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar or eligibility to obtain admission.
