Job Overview: A prestigious law firm is seeking a highly skilled associate for its Infrastructure Group. This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale public civil works projects. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in construction law, real estate law, public contract law, or transportation regulatory law. Location:

Duties:

  • Manage and oversee various infrastructure-related legal projects.
  • Provide counsel on issues related to construction, real estate, public contracts, and transportation regulatory law.
  • Collaborate with team members on innovative solutions for large public civil works projects.
  • Take ownership of projects, ensuring that all deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Contribute to business development efforts and support the firm’s growth.
  • Meet the annual billable hours expectation.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in construction law, public contract law, or related fields.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Admission to the state bar in the office location.
  • Ability to take on significant responsibilities and demonstrate ownership of projects.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the state bar in the office location is required.

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in construction law, public contract law, and related infrastructure legal issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Background or knowledge in engineering, construction, or project finance is a plus.
