Workers' Compensation Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a skilled Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its expanding team in the Bay Area. Duties:

• Manage workers' compensation cases from inception to resolution.
• Handle depositions and attend hearings as required.
• Work closely with support staff to ensure efficient case management.
• Coordinate with clients to provide regular updates on case status.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and prepare for trial (if applicable).
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience handling workers' compensation claims.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Professional demeanor with the flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the State Bar of California.

Skills:

• Proficiency in managing workers' compensation cases from start to finish.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to conduct depositions and interact effectively with clients and opposing counsel.
• Knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations in California.
• Trial experience is a plus but not required.
