A law firm seeks a highly motivated Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team in San Diego, CA. This full-time position offers a chance to work in a small, collaborative office environment with a focus on community association law. The firm specializes in corporate counsel services, including assessment collections, governance, and litigation for community associations. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of legal experience and a strong willingness to learn and grow within this practice area.

Duties

• Assist in daily corporate counsel activities, including assessment collections and corporate governance for community associations.
• Draft a variety of legal documents, including correspondence, contracts, and other legal materials.
• Represent the firm in interactions with association board members and property managers.
• Attend court hearings and participate in all aspects of litigation, from inception through resolution.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to ensure effective case management and legal strategy.
• Manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and client expectations.

Requirements

• 1-5 years of legal experience (however, all motivated candidates are encouraged to apply).
• Must be licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of California.
• Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn new areas of law and grow within the practice.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
