Duties:

  • Render oil and gas title opinions for clients in various states, including Oklahoma, Colorado, New Mexico, North Dakota, Wyoming, and Texas.
  • Conduct full title abstracting and ownership preparation when necessary.
  • Collaborate with legal assistants, senior attorneys, and partners to ensure high-quality work for clients.
  • Manage multiple tasks and projects related to oil, gas, and energy law.
  • Work in a team-oriented environment where each role is valued equally.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Oklahoma, Colorado, New Mexico, North Dakota, Wyoming, or Texas.
  • Proven experience in oil and gas title work or equivalent experience in title abstracting and ownership preparation.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active Bar membership in at least one of the relevant states (Oklahoma, Colorado, New Mexico, North Dakota, Wyoming, or Texas).

Certifications:

  • State Bar admission in one or more of the listed states.
