Job Overview
A law firm seeks an empathetic and detail-oriented Intake Attorney to lead the client intake process and serve as the initial point of contact for prospective clients. Duties

  • Review and assess potential personal injury and mass tort cases, evaluating their viability and potential outcomes.
  • Conduct initial client interviews and screenings with empathy and professionalism.
  • Provide preliminary legal guidance and information about clients' rights and options.
  • Document and analyze case details, conducting basic legal research when needed.
  • Coordinate with legal teams to determine case acceptance and provide recommendations.
  • Assist in preparing and presenting case proposals to prospective clients.
  • Continuously improve and optimize the client intake process to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Cultivate trust and rapport with potential clients while maintaining the firm's standards of professionalism.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the state Bar.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney, preferably in personal injury or mass tort litigation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proven experience in conducting initial case evaluations and preliminary legal research.
  • A team-oriented mindset with a desire to collaborate and contribute to the firm's success.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools, case management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Education

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited institution.
