Duties:

• Prepare and manage patent litigation cases, from inception through trial

• Develop and implement case strategies, with a focus on discovery management

• Work closely with expert and fact witnesses for case preparation

• Analyze patents and products for infringement and validity assessments

• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents

• Conduct and defend depositions, including witness examinations

• Collaborate with legal teams to ensure successful litigation outcomes

• Provide effective trial and court arguments

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of patent litigation experience

• Experience handling patent infringement and validity analyses

• Proficiency in managing the discovery phase of litigation

• Experience drafting motions, briefs, and legal documents related to patent issues

• Some experience with depositions, witness examinations, and expert testimony

• Ability to handle complex litigation matters in district courts and/or the ITC

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts or eligible for admission

• Admitted or eligible for admission in Washington, DC is a plus
