Job Overview:

Duties:

  • Assist with discovery processes and litigation in connection with adversary and contested matters.
  • Draft plan-related financing documents, pleadings, and acquisition agreements.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys in a dynamic, team-oriented work environment.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of legal experience in restructuring, insolvency, and bankruptcy.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Previous law firm experience is highly preferred.
  • Licensed to practice law in New York and good standing.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Strong academic performance.

Certifications:

  • Must be a licensed attorney in the State of New York.
  • Bankruptcy Clerkship is preferred.
