Foreclosure Attorney

Job Overview:

A well-established law firm is looking to hire an experienced Foreclosure Attorney to manage judicial foreclosure and litigation cases with a focus on residential real estate, mortgage, and transactional matters. The role involves protecting clients' interests throughout litigation proceedings, managing cases from start to finish, and providing strategic legal advice. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while contributing to the success of the firm's legal operations.

Location:

• Sacramento, CA

Duties:

• Manage foreclosure and litigation cases from inception to completion.
• Prepare legal analyses and advise clients on strategy.
• Draft court pleadings and legal documents.
• Handle discovery processes, including filing and defending motions.
• Attend court hearings, both telephonic and in person.
• Handle additional duties or special projects as required.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in law, preferably in litigation, real estate, or mortgage law.
• Admission to practice law in the state of California (other bar admissions are a plus).
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Ability to interpret and work with client systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet tools.
• Capability to manage and prioritize a large caseload effectively.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar.
• Additional bar memberships are beneficial.
