Job Overview:

A reputable law firm in Henderson, NV, is seeking an experienced and motivated Personal Injury Attorney to manage both pre-litigation and litigation cases in Nevada State Court and Federal Court. This role offers a unique opportunity for an attorney with a passion for client advocacy and a strong background in personal injury law. Successful candidates will be expected to independently manage a caseload, work closely with support staff, and demonstrate exceptional client communication and litigation skills.

Duties:

• Independently manage and litigate personal injury cases in both state and federal courts.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including discovery, without supervision.
• Review and analyze medical records, bills, and other case documents.
• Calculate damages, including medical expenses, property damages, and lost wages.
• Lead and manage support staff as needed.
• Build rapport and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates on case progress.
• Contribute to the firm’s growth by participating in marketing and budget meetings.
• Attend after-hours events as necessary to promote brand awareness.
• Be accessible and available to take calls after hours or on weekends if required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience negotiating and litigating personal injury cases.
• Proven ability to independently manage a caseload with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to review, analyze, and manage medical records and bills.
• Experience in handling litigation discovery, including document production and depositions.
• A positive, proactive attitude and ability to work within a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to contribute to the firm’s growth and participate in marketing initiatives.
• Trial experience is preferred but not required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active and valid license to practice law in Nevada.
