Job Overview:
A respected law firm is seeking a Project Finance Associate Attorney with 3 to 5 years of transactional experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in representing lenders or tax equity investors in renewable energy project finance transactions. Strong academic performance, exceptional writing, and analytical skills are key. This role provides an opportunity to work on high-profile projects in a dynamic legal environment.

Duties:

  • Provide legal expertise and support on project finance transactions, with a focus on renewable energy projects.
  • Represent lenders and tax equity investors throughout the life cycle of project development and financing.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, financing documents, and other legal agreements.
  • Advise clients on regulatory compliance, risks, and market trends affecting project finance.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including senior attorneys and clients, to drive successful outcomes.
  • Manage multiple projects and ensure all legal deliverables are met in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in project finance law, particularly with renewable energy projects.
  • Experience representing lenders or tax equity investors is highly preferred.
  • Strong writing, research, and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to handle complex legal matters and provide practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be a licensed member of the Texas Bar.

Skills:

  • Transactional legal experience, particularly in project finance and renewable energy sectors.
  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex legal documents.
  • Ability to manage client relationships and provide strategic legal advice.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
