A well-established law firm in the Northwest is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation/Construction Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of civil litigation experience, with a focus on construction law, personal injury, general liability, and business litigation. Duties:

  • Handle civil litigation cases with a focus on construction law, personal injury, general liability, and business litigation.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Participate in discovery, depositions, and court appearances on behalf of clients.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters, providing support in trials and appeals.
  • Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Maintain strong client communication and provide strategic legal advice.
  • Manage and prioritize a diverse caseload in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years of civil litigation experience, with an emphasis on construction law.
  • Strong academic record, with demonstrated analytical and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction and courtroom advocacy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative legal team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar membership in the State of Oregon (required).
