Job Overview

Seeking a motivated and forward-thinking litigation attorney to join a rapidly expanding Texas law firm renowned for delivering exceptional client representation. Duties

  • Lead case management across pre-litigation and litigation phases, maintaining a proactive docket strategy
  • Conduct and oversee depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation
  • Draft, file, and manage motions, petitions, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Develop case strategies and advise clients on legal pathways to favorable outcomes
  • Engage in negotiations with insurance adjusters and defense attorneys
  • Supervise and mentor administrative support staff, paralegals, and law clerks
  • Ensure all legal activities align with the firm’s mission and values

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a law firm setting, with active litigation and trial experience preferred
  • Current member in good standing with the State Bar of Texas (or other applicable state)
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage a legal docket with multiple files

Education

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active membership with local bar association preferred
