Job Overview: A growing law firm specializing in medical malpractice and personal injury is seeking an experienced attorney to join their team. This position offers flexibility with the option to work remotely, with occasional in-person meetings at the firm's Peabody, MA office. Duties:

  • Represent plaintiffs in medical malpractice and personal injury cases.
  • Conduct and defend depositions, manage discovery, and prepare pleadings.
  • Handle motion practice and trial preparation.
  • Review and analyze medical records and case-related documentation.
  • Provide regular updates to clients and firm partners.
  • Work closely with firm partners to develop case strategies and legal approaches.
  • Navigate court systems, including e-filing and court submissions.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in medical malpractice or personal injury, preferably on the plaintiff's side.
  • Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts; NH Bar admission is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience managing civil litigation from start to finish.
  • Familiarity with e-filing, court websites, and case management software.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar License in Massachusetts (NH Bar admission is a plus).

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
