Job Overview:

A law firm in Rochester, NY, is seeking a Real Estate and Finance Associate Attorney to join their team. This position involves handling commercial real estate transactions, including leasing, purchasing, and sale transactions, and large-scale property review due diligence projects. The ideal candidate will represent clients in complex middle-market commercial lending transactions and draft and negotiate transactional documents.

Duties:

• Handle commercial real estate transactions, including:
  • Commercial leasing
  • Purchasing and sale transactions
  • Large-scale property review due diligence projects
• Represent clients, including borrowers and lenders, in complex middle-market commercial lending transactions
• Draft and negotiate transactional documents
• Conduct comprehensive title examinations and survey analyses to identify potential issues or risks related to real estate properties
• Perform due diligence to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks

Requirements:

• 2-6 years of experience in commercial real estate and finance transactions
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Strong academic credentials
