Duties:

  • Manage and litigate complex first-party property defense cases
  • Conduct thorough reviews of large and intricate case files
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
  • Collaborate with a supervising partner on case strategy and litigation approach
  • Represent clients in court, mediations, and settlement negotiations
  • Provide legal advice on coverage issues and assist in pre-suit negotiations when applicable

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of litigation experience, particularly in first-party property defense
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Open to mentorship and collaboration with senior partners

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active member of the Florida Bar

Skills:

  • Proficient in legal research and drafting complex legal documents
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Experience in coverage issues and pre-suit negotiations is a plus
