Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is actively seeking an experienced and driven Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join their legal team in Indianapolis. This role involves managing personal injury cases from inception through trial, ensuring that clients receive exceptional care and legal representation. The successful candidate will demonstrate empathy, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to independently handle complex litigation while collaborating within a supportive team environment.

Duties:

• Meet with clients to evaluate cases, provide updates, and maintain consistent communication throughout the legal process.
• Prepare, negotiate, and manage all aspects of personal injury cases, including handling insurance claims, demands, and offers.
• Take a proactive role in investigating and evaluating the merits of claims.
• Represent clients effectively in court, from pre-trial motions through trial, if necessary.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
• Prepare case documentation, discovery materials, and other legal paperwork.
• Stay up-to-date with legal trends, case law, and legislative changes impacting personal injury litigation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• At least 6 years of litigation experience, with significant 1st chair trial experience.
• Member in good standing with the Indiana Bar.
• Proficiency in evaluating personal injury claims and related legal matters.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented mindset and adaptability.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Indiana Bar.
