Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a highly skilled Senior Personal Injury Litigation Attorney with 5 to 10 years of experience in litigation, focusing on personal injury and property damage cases. The ideal candidate will have a background in both defense and plaintiff litigation, with a proven ability to manage a substantial caseload from inception through trial or resolution. This role offers significant opportunities for trial experience and business development, with positions available in multiple Florida locations, including Jacksonville, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, and Orlando.

Duties:

• Manage a personal injury litigation caseload from case initiation through trial or settlement.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and case facts.
• Represent clients in court hearings, trials, mediations, and negotiations.
• Draft, review, and finalize legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and contracts.
• Handle all aspects of the discovery process, including requests, responses, and depositions.
• Prepare for trials and client meetings, developing case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Collaborate with clients and legal teams to meet case objectives and deadlines.
• Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to client relationship management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex litigation from inception through trial.
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with state and federal court procedures, including discovery and depositions.
• Experience in trial preparation and active participation in trials.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
• Commitment to providing outstanding client service and building lasting client relationships.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar (or willingness to gain Florida admission if licensed in another state).
